MOSTCLIP / GUIDE

How processing minutes and clip counts work

Understand MostClip allowances, re-picks and the free trial through concrete source-duration examples.

Processing minutes are based on the full source-video duration for a new analysis, not the combined length of the output clips. Duration is rounded up to a whole minute. Reopening or downloading a completed result is not a new analysis.

Does choosing 10 clips instead of 5 double my allowance use?

Within one analysis request, the allowance is based on source duration; it is not doubled simply because you selected more clips. More outputs can create additional rendering and storage work for the service. Account minutes and infrastructure cost are different measures.

What happens if I analyze the same video again?

A new analysis with another intent, length or count uses the full source duration again. This product rule still applies when the transcript comes from cache. Simply opening or downloading an earlier completed result uses no additional analysis minutes.

Does the Free allowance renew?

No. Each account receives 30 Free processing minutes once. The allowance does not renew monthly. Special test-account allowances do not change the general Free plan.

Why might I receive fewer clips than I selected?

The selected count is a maximum. Fewer clips can be produced when there are not enough strong, distinct moments within the requested duration. A short or repetitive source may contain fewer standalone ideas than a longer episode.

What happens when an analysis fails?

The application’s processing-minute refund mechanism applies to analyses that fail during processing. Check your account balance and send the project ID to support if there is a problem. A processing-minute refund is not the same as a payment refund.
